Standard license scope

Proteus is delivered as a compiled NinjaTrader 8 strategy product. Standard users configure the system through supported strategy inputs before enabling the strategy.

Not included in the standard subscription: runtime external API control, socket streaming, open-source access, source code, and custom flatten/flip automation.

Advanced integration work may be available separately by custom quote.

Beyond standard subscription

Need a custom Proteus integration?

Some advanced users may want to connect Proteus to external trend models, custom dashboards, runtime control layers, or proprietary research workflows. These requests are outside the standard subscription and are quoted separately.

The standard Proteus subscription includes access to the compiled NinjaTrader 8 strategy product and supported configuration inputs. Advanced requests such as source-code access, runtime external control, socket streaming, custom flatten/flip logic, or external trend-model integration are not included in the standard subscription.

Why is Proteus only available on NinjaTrader 8?

NinjaTrader 8 supports Market Replay with Level II data—the environment Proteus is designed around. TradeStation and MultiCharts do not offer the same Level II replay workflow for this product.

What markets does Proteus trade?

Proteus is designed for liquid futures such as E-mini Nasdaq, gold, and related markets included in your multi-market license. Review documentation for the current supported instrument list.

Do I get source code with my subscription?

No. The standard subscription includes the compiled NT8 strategy and supported input configuration. Source code and custom development are quoted separately.

Can I connect Proteus to an external API or dashboard?

Runtime external control, socket streaming, and custom integration layers are not part of the standard subscription. Contact us for a custom integration quote if you need this capability.

How should I evaluate Proteus before going live?

Use NinjaTrader 8 Market Replay with Level II data, study multiple Proteus setups, sim trade with conservative sizing, and review the research playlist before live deployment.

Is support included?

Email support for installation, configuration, and standard workflow questions is included. Deep custom development or ongoing runtime integration support is quoted separately.
