Trading System Signals for September 30, 2026

The last trading day of September remained compressed and choppy. The early pre-market inflation numbers originally boosted the Nasdaq futures 200+ points but the weight of the bond market seemed to limit upside gains.

The Nasdaq seems to remain in a holding pattern while Bond yields move higher with the potential of a rally on the first sign of a break in the uptrend in bond yields.

We anticipated some better price action based on end of month and end of quarter rolling into a new month and a new quarter. October 1 and Q4 trade starts tomorrow and we are still due for a cycle of price action with more tone as we have seen many times, the market can change its tone and regime on a new month and a new quarter.

All Nasdaq portfolios were up on the month, so it is a profitable month.

Ending the month with profitable portfolios while also being in a drawdown after the last three days give us some good drawdown entry alerts in the 18 System Portfolio NQ as well as the 7, 3, and 2.

The NQ Only Diversified 57 was the best performer on the month with +41,615.
