Short Selling Opportunity in Open Range 2026
We don't indiscriminately call tops and bottoms in trading but look for cyclical short term opportunities. This is a day trade setup that can capture the short side in a cycle. Typically the extreme runs that we see have a 30 day cycle and we are on day 28 of a massive runup. Open Range 2026 trades the Nasdaq 100 futures and can take long or short trades for a short term cycle and will also manage risk.
Equity Peaks in the Seven System Portfolio
Nice gains on Friday across the board in our trend strategies as the indexes continued their surge to new highs. The Seven System Portfolio hit equity peaks today with some nice consistent trades. It has been a top performing portfolio. We released it on March 2 and it make equity peaks on March 9, April 14, and again on May 8 in a challenging market environment. It has the right amount of diversity for this market environment.
The strength of the move in the indexes is unprecedented. The trend is higher and we anticipate that the trend higher will continue. Nasdaq 50,000 is about 65% away. The Semiconductor (SOX) is up 65% this year. These numbers are possible when the market goes parabolic. We anticipate more volatility though as we discuss next.
I do anticipate more intra-day fluctuations along with some "scary" pullbacks along the way instead of constant breakaway gaps and higher highs and higher lows all the way up.
