Today was one of the biggest days for the portfolios we have seen in a while. All portfolios were up on the day.
The stock indexes climbed steadily higher and there were many long signals to take advantage of the price action. The bull runs that we see since 2009 have the tendency to get on record breaking streaks. The Nasdaq is up 9 days in a row. It feels like a good time to put on a short position, but we stick with the strategy and take the longs or shorts in the algorithms as the market is targeting all-time highs and very jumpy to surge on any news that seems positive or bullish.
Fed liquidity could start to increase once again. We know what happens to asset prices when the Feds balance sheet starts to move higher.
