Is this a Sign of a Bear Market?

The Nasdaq 100 remains negative for the year during the day session in 2025, with all net gains coming at night. In 2024, the index followed a similar pattern—posting over a 10% annual gain, yet all of it occurred outside of regular trading hours.

This has only happened once before, in 2007.

Is this a sign of a bear market propped up by excess liquidity? Are we witnessing a structural shift where markets struggle to decline despite negative day-session performance?
