Comparing a Gold Trading System in Tradestation, Multicharts, and NinjaTrader 8



SR CounterTrend II v2 M 1m is a trading system that can trade multiple markets. We highlight it on Gold in the Tradestation, Multicharts, and NinjaTrader 8 platform. We discuss the performance statistics and show the recent trades. This strategy is 6 for 6 on the long side trading Gold in April 2024. 


It is a low frequency strategy and only averages about 20 trades per year.


This is a multi-year backtest going back to 2007.


Other markets that are traded with this strategy include Silver, Crude Oil, Natural Gas, E-mini S&P, and Coffee.


We show how this strategy can be traded on additional markets and additional variations for a portfolio of trading systems.
