DAX CobraCT III for NinjaTrader

DAX Cobra CT III is an automated trading system that trades the DAX futures by entering long only counter trend trades in during the US Session from 1-3 pm EST and will hold existing trades up until 3:59 pm EST.  The regular trading hours for the DAX are from 2 am – 4 pm EST.  This strategy is ideal for those who want to day trade the afternoon session and use time diversity.  This strategy will take a maximum of five trades per day (but not usually more than one trade) and uses a 1000 Euro stop loss.

This strategy trades on a 1 or 5 minute chart, the daily chart, and the daily chart of the $VIX.

This strategy could be ideal for European traders wanting to trade the DAX from 7-10 pm local time, if you have a day job and want to trade after work in the evening time.  This trading system has been more profitable since January 2009 as the market has provided more countertrend trades.  In the performance summaries below, the 1 minute and 5 minute version is included back to 2003.

Can I purchase the open code?

I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars developing strategies. There has been a great deal of trial and error in the last 15 years to determine what works best. I do offer the the open code to my strategies. I consider this my intellectual property. You must also fill out a Non-Disclosure Agreement in order to purchase any of the open code strategies.
